If you hire counsel to represent you, they will owe you a duty of confidentiality. They may be able to resolve the issues without a case being called up in open court. Even if you do not have counsel represent you before the Board or in Court, you need to at least consult directly with an attorney that does that type of work. You might do an internet search for lawyers that handle, civil, administrative or agency law cases. IF that isn't fruitful, you can ask the Kansas Bar Assn, or the nearest law school for a referral.

Good luck
