Legal Question in Family Law in Kansas

custody

I live in Arizona, my husband lives in Kansas. We plan on getting a divorce and I am going out to Kansas to let him see our 2 month old child. Will he be able to take my son away if I fly out there?

Re: custody

While no divorce is pending, there are nor real rules. Thus, his rights are no greater than yours, and your rights are no greater than his. There are ways where the trip could of course be very problematic.

I can explain the procedures better by phone or in person. As you can imagine, there is too much to cover via e'mail. We offer free 1/2 hour consultations, in which we can discuss the matter in more detail.

Please call me directly to discuss the specifics of your case, or contact my assistant Alicia or my paralegal Jennifer to schedule a free 1/2 hour consultation.
