divorce
me and my husband seperated and now i would like to file for a divorce. i live in the state of kansas and his last known address is in kansas city, missouri. my question is if i can not locate him and serve him for the divorce papers can i still get a divorce?

If you do not know your spouse's whereabouts, a divorce can still be accomplished after service by publication in a legal newspaper. This has some disadvantages, as no money judgment can be granted unless personal sevice is obtained. You should contact an experience family law attorney in your area.
