Legal Question in Family Law in Kansas

I recently got married. The question I have is my wife has a ex husband they have children . If her ex was to get the kids can he come after my income also for child support or just hers?

Just hers. The income of step-parents is not considered, because step-parents don't have a legal duty to support the children. Only the parents do.
