Legal Question in Immigration Law in Kansas

I'm a US citizen & I got married in Egypt the US way. I want to bring him here (he's never been in the US) Can I apply both the I 130 & I 495? Or do O have to do it through consular processing? If I do it that way how long will it be until he can get his green card

If your husband is outside the U.S. and you're married, the general course of action is to process him through the consulate and when he enters the U.S. he'll be a U.S. lawful permanent resident. If your husband is in the U.S. pursuant to a lawful admission, he may be eligible to file to adjust status (get his green card without leaving the country). You may want to discuss all of this with counsel to ensure that you're going about this the correct way and that you're not missing any steps that will slow you down. Feel free to reach out to us. We handle cases throughout Ohio and Kentucky (Louisville is where the CIS office is for KY cases).
