Legal Question in Employment Law in Kansas

Creating a hostile working environment.

I am being harrassed and discriminated against by both my supervisor and his supervisor. They have, with out reason, changed my schedule to try and make me quit, when I didn't they wrote me up, when I got it thrown out, they wrote me up the next day, when I decline to sign it, they wrote me for something that happened over a month ago. I have to follow procedures that no else has to. I am forced to work on my own time to get my job done with no compesation. The whole mess has made me physically ill, I can't sleep, and the conditions and atmosphere at work are unbearable.

Re: Creating a hostile working environment.

Kansas is an "employment at will" state. If you are being harassed and discriminated against because of your sex, race, age, religion, national origin, or a disbility, or because you have a workers compensation injury or have blown the whistle on the company, you may have a cause of action. Otherwise, you can probably be forced out without recourse. If you fall within one of these minority categories and wish to discuss this further, please call me.
