My wife is an associate and is payed salary about 30,000 a year she works 55 hours a week and doesn't get paid overtime they also have meetings for a couple hour per week and that doesn't count towards their 40 hours a week they are required to work. Is this legal ? She works in Wichita ks and is not a supervisor.

It sounds like your wife might be able to conteswt hewr exempt status in asuit for unpaid overtime. Take her to see a labor or employment attorney in your area. Many offer a free or low cost initial consultation.

Good luck
