Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Kansas

my boyfriend and his mother live with me in the home i own in stilwell ks. One day she uped and moved with out a word. she was paying 530 to me for utilities and food and was 2 months behind. i changed the locks on the house and then on her bedroom and noticed she still has property in her room. 3 weeks ago she came with sheriff to get things but i was out of town and my sister told them they had to wait till i was in town to get stuf. upon my arrival in town i contacted her via phone to come get stuff and she has negelected to return my calls (total of one per week). when can i remove her property from the room and what do i do with it? also some one told me i have to claim on my taxes is this true?i

Why not have her Son take her stuff to her. ? Isn't he the reason she git to stay there for a while? Let him deal with her stuff. You can send her stuff to the Sheriff's department, fit her to pick up, but it may cause undue drama for.him, and conflict between you and him. I do not know all the information about your tax situation. What you described seems to be a source of incom, that would be reported or subtracted from a credit. Make sure your tax preparer knows about the monies you got from her.
