Legal Question in Sexual Harassment in Kansas

changing jobs

If there is a sexual harrassment investigation going on and I am the victim involved in the case can I change jobs, before the investigation is over without hurting the case. I feel that my employer has not done everything possible to help this situation? I have also reported this to the police and seeking advice from a lawyer. Even if the investigation causes termination or whatever consequences for this co-worker, I still do not feel emotionally able to work at this company and do not feel that I am treated the same as I was before this incident.

Re: changing jobs

Was/is the job where the harassment occurred in Kansas? If you feel like you need to change jobs, you can do so without hurting a legal case, but you will likely need to make sure you have protested through any policy that your company has. I would really need more details to respond mor thoroughly.
