Legal Question in Traffic Law in Kansas

I drive a 18 wheeler and I was in Edwardsville Ks. I took an exit to get to my delivery. At the top of the ramp was a small sign no trucks allowed. The problem is that there was no sign on the highway forworning me not to use that exit. You don't see the sign until you have already taken the exit ramp.Well I got stopped by police for being on a no truck road. I can't back down the exit ramp... So I'm stuck. No signs telling me until I'm on the ramp that I'm not allowed on that road and no way to cross over and return to highway. Is this intrapment. I must show up in court.. Manditoty.. Do I have a defense. They get 2 to 4 trucks a week on this I was told. Sounds like a scam to me

The fact that there are no signs on the roadway, may be persuasive with the judge. You didn't indicate whether the citation was written by a municipal police officer or a Sheriff's deputy. You also did not indicate whether you were driving on an interstate, state highway or inferior road. You may want to have an attorney represent you in this case. You may email me if you're interested.
