auto lease spousal maintenance
My ex husband was ordered to pay the car until jan 1, 2007 as spousal maintenance. My paper says or until expiration of lease whichever comes first. It says after that time I will receive the car as my own or have the option to purchase the lease.He came and picked the car up yesterday and left me and the two kids with nothing. I found out today he paid off the lease on oct. 10. Dosent that constitute termination of the lease. I wasnt even given the option to purchase it. I just finished school and need the car to find and keep a job and get the kids around. IS there anything I can do? Did he do the right thing?

I think that he (your ex) misunderstood. give this problem to your attorney. ( I hope that you have one).
