Legal Question in Family Law in Kentucky

can you tell me what to expect for the first family court hearing? re: my 8 mo old son that was injured at the babysitter house medically explained as shaken baby. due to an old brain bleed, officials have not completely ruled us, the parents, out as suspects and have now summoned all parties for family court. children have been appointed cousel. we have yet to be officially served.
