Legal Question in Family Law in Kentucky

reversal of guardianship of children

I am the mother of two children, ages 17 and 15. I am divorced from their father and had custody of them. Two years ago,I became ill and could not take care of my children. So their father and I were in agreement to give permenant guardianship to their Aunt. Since then I have become alot better, even though I am still disabled. The 15 yr. old has been living with me now for 7 mths. and the 17 yr. old for 5 mths., The guardian and their father is agreeable with this. What would be involved in transferring or reversing their guardianship back to me?

Re: reversal of guardianship of children

go back to the Court doing the guardianship/change of custody and ask it to change it back. If everyone is agreeable then there should be no problem. You will probably need an attorney to help since you will not know how to prepare the necessary pleadings, orders etc.
