Re: Military Clause SCRA

President Bush has signed the Servicemembers Civil Relief Act, new legislation to help ease the economic and legal burdens on military personnel called to active duty status in Operation Iraqi Freedom. The Servicemembers Civil Relief Act updates and strengthens the previous Soldiers & Sailors Civil Relief Act of 1940 (SSCRA).

You can download copies of this Act from the American Bar Association's LAMP project at:

If you need legal assistance, your local bar association maintains a list of volunteer attorneys who will be able to help.
