who owns the land fenced in wrong?

When i moved in there was a privacy fence up and I replaced it with another fence because it was falling apart. Recently a survey was done that indicates that the fence is over the property line. I put it exactly where the other one was, what should be done about this and who owns the land?

the fince being wrong does notautomatically give you title. However, this raises questions of how long has the fence been there? Was it there by agreement? How is your neighbor taking it? Is this a platted sub-division? See local counsel or move the fence to its correct location.
