Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Kentucky

Power of Attorney

I will be leaving the country on September 23, will return October 5. I would like to make my father my power of attorney while I'm gone. I want him to be able to pay bills, take care of the selling of my house - I have no children so this should be a easy process.

Could you tell me what kind of Power of Attorney I need and where I can find the forms.

Thanks you so much

Re: Power of Attorney

Pre-printed forms often do not provide the necessary coverage. In most small towns, a power of attorney will probablt cost you less than $100.00 at an attorney's office and you can be comfortable knowing that it has been tailored to your situation and executed correctly. It would be inconvenient if the "pre-printed form" were refused for some technical error or that it did not cover the situation it was needed for and you were out of the country.
