Legal Question in Disability Law in Louisiana

I have a house sitter who lived in my million dollar furnished house, including all utitlites, internet and cable for 21/2 years. We were trying to sell the house and hired a contractor to do some repair work. The house sitter elected to help the contractor. He was also managing some apartments for us, for which we were paying him a comission. When we sold the house and he had to move out, he wanted to borrow $10,000.00 from us to go to Paris. When we told he we could not lend him any money, he blew up, had a temper tantrum and scared my wife who was there so badly that we told him he could no longer manage the apartments. He became infuriated and started to claim that we owed him money for his "work" in helping our contractor. He sends us daily, threatining and sometimes vulgar e-mail demanding to be paid. I'm 82 years old and he's telling me that after I die he will continue to plague my wife until he gets paid. Surely this is harassment of the worst kind. Any suggestions? Thanks. Keith Casey

It is harassment. His choice is to sue or not.
