Legal Question in Disability Law in Louisiana

short term disability

My husband is self-employed and is under contract with his company. He is out on short term disability and they have changed the terms of his agreement three times since he has been out. Is there any legal action that can be sought against them for discrimination due to an illness?

I do not think there is anything that is actionable just because he is ill, however, the contract is the law between the parties, so a thorough examination of the contract is imperative.
