Fired or Quit Employer

I am trying to get some information on how to find out if some one quit their job or was fired from their job. Can I have their personnal records supeoned from the company they previously worked for and would this information be in their personnel records?

In order for a court to subpoena someone's personnel record, the contents of that file must be essential to an issue the court is attempting to decide.
