what do i inherit from my father if there was no will and he has been married to stepmom for 7 years

With very few exceptions, you inherit his entire estate. You should be put into immediate full possession of any of his separate property (which includes property he owned prior to the marriage) and "naked ownership" of his 1/2 of any community property he shared with his present wife. She would get "usufruct" over that community property until she dies or remarries.

Successions are complicated and have many traps for the unwary. You REALLY need to talk to a lawyer in your area who handles successions and estates IMMEDIATELY.
