Legal Question in Criminal Law in Louisiana
technical violation of parole
my fiance has a tech. violation of his parole and signed a waiver for trail and admitted the violation. his parole is done nov.26th 2008. but the jail is saying he has to serve ninety days . i spoke with the officer of his parole and the officer said he is to get out on 26th. what is the rule on this.

The jail appears to have confused parole with probation. Have the parole officer contact the jail about this.
