If you are the passenger of a dui arrest, can you refuse to get out of the vehicle is asked by the officer?

No. The police are allowed to secure the area, including the vehicle, to ensure their own safety and the security of the scene. Their order for a passenger to get out of the car is a legal order and must be followed. By refusing, the passenger would subject himself to arrest for refusing a lawful order, interfering with a police investigation, or a number of other misdemeanor charges.
