At what age can a child decide which parent they want to live with in Louisiana?

Technically, not until they are 18. The Court never accepts the child's stated desire blindly. The Court always does whatever it believes is in the best interests of the child. That being said, a child over 12 or so and especially over 15 can state a desire, which is a big factor for the Court to base its decision on.
