Legal Question in Family Law in Louisiana

Should I let my kids go to England with there mother?

My childrens mother married a man she met on the internet from England about 3 years ago. Since then she has wanted me to sign papers agreeing to let her move with them to England, which i refused repeatedly. She now says they are planning on staying in the states but wants to bring the children there for a vacation this coming summer, which she says she still needs my written consent to get their visas. If i sign a consent form for vacation can she stay there legally with the children? Can I put into the consent forms that if she stays for more than 3 months, upon returning to the U.S. She has to give up custody? What rights do I have once she gets to England and does not want to return with the children?

Take her to court and have the court authorize the trip and set the terms of the trip. Your problem is if she decides to stay, I am not sure what you can do. You will need to check with an international attorney, or one versed in English law.
