Moving out of state

Can my husband stop the mother of his child from moving out of the state that we both reside in?

Revised Statute 9:355.1 and following govern the issue. Basically, if there is a custody order, then the domiciliary parent must give 60 days notice before a move. If you do not agree with it, then you should insist on a court hearing to determine if the move is in the best interest of the child.
