Legal Question in Personal Injury in Louisiana

Motorcycle accident

I have a question concerning a recent motorcycle accident i was involved in. I was heading east on opelousas st. when i came to a traffic light it was green A lady heading west on opelousas st. tried to make a left turn just as I was in the middle of the intersection causing a collision. I was rushed to the Emergency room with severe injuries to my left leg. My Big toe was broken, my heel was shattered, my tibia and fibia was broke in half, my knee cap was cracked, and I had over 100 stitches in my leg. I have 2 pins in my heel, 4 pins in my leg, and a screw in my knee as a result of the surgeries i had. The women claimed not to have had insurance or a drivers liscense.Well come to find out she has had another accident similar in 2003 and claimed no insurance or drivers liscense. What my question is is how can she have a car that is registered with up to date liscense plate tags that she recieved this year and had an inspection sticker that was up to date, but did not have any court dates recently in the past couple of years to get her liscense revoked. Is it possible she lied about not having insurance and a liscense and how can i find out. I also lost my job for not being able to go to work. What can i do.

Re: Motorcycle accident

Contact an attorney. He will investigate the insurance issue then proceed accordingly. I would hope that you had UM coverage on you cycle. Hopefully the time limits have not passed.
