Legal Question in Personal Injury in Louisiana

i was recently in a car accident the other persons fault up until now her insurance company has been great provided a rental car and setting on my truck it was totaled however i was injured and transported to the hospital by ambulance the hospital bills are between 6000-7000 and they said they are going to pay them but they are only offering me 1200 for pain and suffering i dont feel this is fair i had contusions on my face and scalp and a strained neck i was rear ended i had a headache for a week because my head hit the window and couldnt turn my head for nearly two weeks i work with the public so it was difficult and i missed out on things with my children and family ive never dealt with anything like this so tell me does 1200 sound fair i have told them everything im telling you and they are not budging

No. It does not. I need to know more and so do you probably. Have you finished treating. Are you still in pain. How long has it lasted. Are there any permanent injuries. If the insurance policy is only 10,000 and the medicals are 7,000, they should give it all to you. But you need an attorney.
