Someone received your shares, likely your mother. Start with the oil company and find out where your shares went. Most likely, they went to your mother. You could sue whomever got your shares, but suing your own mother is not something that makes for happy holidays around the home. You should think long and hard about that before you do it. Is the money really worth ruining your relationship with your family forever?
