Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Louisiana

My grandfather disenherited my father, sister, and myself. The grandmother is dead. The will leaves everything to my aunt. Can my sister and I contest this. We are all, minus the aunt, residents of Louisiana. None of the disenherited have given him the legal cause to do so.

Louisiana did away with forced heirship in most cases back in 1996. The only people who are still forced heirs are children who are under 23 years old or children who are mentally or physically handicapped. Unless you fit one of those categories, your father didn't need a cause to disinherit you anymore.
