Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Louisiana

My great grandfather's will was never probated he died I 1983 he owned two properties and his wife and daughters have since died...he has one grand daughter living and she does not want the property. �My siblings and I are paying the taxes on the properties...we all live in Texas but the property is in Louisiana. Where do we start?

You would have to have your grandfather's will probated in court, and maybe open estate proceedsing on his daughter.

Based on what you posted, the granddaughter would inherit the property. She could do this, and then donate the property to you and your siblings.
