How long succession and probate last before you get your deceased aunt's money and inheritance or possessions? Can you get avoid succession and probate?

How long just depends on whether or not the estate is complicated, and how many people are involved.

In some circumstances, a succession can be done with just affidavits, and nothing needs to be filed in court. That is usually very quick and inexpensive.
