Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Maryland

collecting a judgement from a tenent at small claims

Recently I was a landlord through no choice and my tenent has stiffed me for the rent. We do have a judgement and an eviction scheduled but can I go after thr back rent in small claims court? How do I go about filing?

Yes, you can do so in small claims court. You have to file a complaint in the District Court. The complaint must state the basis for the claim and how much is owed.

An attorney would be able to help you with the filing of the action.
