Legal Question in Criminal Law in Maryland

I filed domestic violence charges against my ex, and he is being charged with 3 counts of assault and destruction of property but I recently got arrested for assault to law enforcement, but it wasn't as serious as they are making it seem. I have physical evidence that I was manhandled and that they used too much force. However, neither of the 2 officers read me my rights, so the case will have to get dropped out, and I have witnesses. My question is should I go to the court date for the trial with my ex, or should I not because I feel that his lawyer will use the charges against me, but I know if I do not show up, they might file a warrant to get me to come. I just want this all to go away. And my last question is if the charges against me do get dropped can I get them expunged?
