Legal Question in Criminal Law in Maryland
a search warrant was executed at girlfriend's home and drugs were found. i was charged but was not present during search and my name was not on the lease due to a protective order. are there any similar cases or would u have an advice corncerning getting the charges dropped?

Beware that you do not have to be present or the owner or lessor of a place to possess property there. The prosecution might rely on a theory of constructive possession.
