can i be in default /not served/how to contact court

i was granted a limited divorce in 6/06 in state of md-spouse filed 3/07 for absoulte divorce-i live in wv for 8mths-papers was just forward from previous lawyer who no longer represent me-so i have not been served-how do i preceed with notifing court so i do not lose to default since no one knows where i am -for fear of my life from spouse and so i can be served-case in md i'm in wv -suffered from mental disorder - help

If your spouse filed for the absolute divorce in the same action, he/she need only serve you by regular mail to move forward with the case at your last known address. If there are financial or other property issues involved in the recent filing, you need to get legal representation to protect your interests.
