Legal Question in Family Law in Maryland

I live in Maryland and have a limited divorce (not Absolute). My husband is planning to marry next month and has not filed any paperwork for an Absolute Divorce. Will his next marriage be legal in the state of Maryland? If not, how do I charge him with criminal bigamy?

Bigamy is not something that is commonly prosecuted to my knowledge. That said, the process of bringing charges is to either go to your local police, or to go to the local District Court Commissioners office and fill out an Application for the Statement of Charges. If you and your husband have not received (not just filed) an absolute divorce, his next marriage is not legal in Maryland or anywhere else in the United States.
