Legal Question in Family Law in Maryland
I was served a show cause order for contempt-denial of visitation. I have sole physical and legal custody. The court order states the ncp has "reasonable visitation as agreed upon". The ncp moved over 1000 miles away more than a year ago and has had no visitation. Prior to moving, he was in psychiatric hospital after substance abuse problems and suicide attempts. How do I respond to show cause order?

Answer the show case just as you posed this question. However, a lawyer can be more convincing to the court.
