Legal Question in Family Law in Maryland

I am the sole guardian of a four year old. I have already been through the final court date where judgement was passed. I agreed to 7 weeks of summer to the father on the stand. We have not received the legal documents from court and that was a month ago. Ever since my son has been gone I have spoken to him everyday via telephone. The method has been reciprocated until a week ago. I had and have continue to call the only number that i have on file and leave messages to not receive any returns. I sent an email to the addresses i had on file and received a straight to the point answer of he is fine. That was on Tuesday. I have of yet been able to get in contact with him. What am I allowed to do in this situation? His dad basically states that he will call at his convience.

A properly drawn order would have provided that during the summer visitation period, you would have telephone access to your son. If it didn't, you may need to have the order modified. The father may feel that daily calls interferes with his visitation period. Perhaps you can reach an agreement that avoids returning to court, while allowing you periodic contact during this time.
