Filing for divorce

Can you file for divorce if the other party is in jail? I just found out he is in the county jail in another part of the state. Its unknown how long he will be in jail. This is the first time in quite a while that I have a valid address on him.

Yes, you can file for divorce when the spouse is in jail (this is itself a grounds for divorce, depending upon the length of sentence).
