Legal Question in Medical Leave in Maryland

notification if hours are exhasted

If you take fmla leave and your employers determines

that you have exhasted your hours worked. do they have

a responibily to notifiy you in a timely manner. and

is there a requirement that makes the available fmla

hours available to the employee at any time either

posted or by formal request.

I don't think the employer is required to make any notice that FMLA hours have been exhausted, but certainly they would have a duty to disclose their calculations if the employee requested (even if there is no specific requirement for that in the code)
