Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Maryland

I just payed for a used motorcycle at the time of the sale the title was signed over and a bill of sale was done to but when I went to tag it I found out it have a lien on it. I contacted the owner and found out the money is being used to pay off the lien and was told I should have the release in two weeks are there any other steps I should take at this time.

You should get contact information regarding the lien holder and contact them to assure yourself of what the seller is telling you. Also you want them to send the release to you so you can take it to MVA and get it cleared off the title.
