Legal Question in Personal Injury in Maryland

Dermatitis

I was diagnosed in December of last year with severe dermatitis on my hands along with a super infection from it.I honestly believe it was an allergic reaction to something at work.I was also informed by my doctor and a dermatologist that I will have this the rest of my life.Do I have legal recourse?

Re: Dermatitis

Your message indicates that you had "an allergic reaction to something at work." There is not enough in your message to indicate how you sustained your injury and whether it was in the course of your employment. You also did not indicate how and what you came into contact with to cause the dermatitis on your hands. Finally, you did not indicate whether as a result of that dermatitis and its complications, you missed any days of work.

You should contact an attorney to discuss the specifics of your case.

Re: Dermatitis

You do not indicate the casual connection as to why you believe your condition was a result of work. If you can show this connection then you can recover. The usual route is through workman's compensation; however, if there are significant damages then you may want to pursue a tort claim. Contact an attorney to discuss your options. (410) 799-9002
