Causally related means those medical services needed to treat the injury that you incurred in this accident. The insurer is trying to avoid paying for further such treatment by getting an ime report that will support their position that the treatment you are now seeking is not causally related. If they get such a report, you will have to get your doc to write a counter report and then file for a comp hearing seeking a ruling in your favor. If you don't have an experienced workers comp attorney you really need to get one asap.
