Legal Question in Consumer Law in Massachusetts
Comcast is telling me that I can't transfer my internet/cable serive to my new apt on June 2nd (when I move) because my husband (whom im seperated from) owes them money from a bill in his name from 2009. How is this legal that they are holding me responsible for this!??!!! I have a good standing account in my name with no balance. How is this legal?? can you help me?!!!

Comcast is correct. You can probably setup a new service.
