Legal Question in Consumer Law in Massachusetts

Purchasing a streetbike situation

I have recently purchased a streetbike. I wasn't really talked through the process and was pretty much told when I said I wasn't sure if I wanted to do it that it was already done. I did this one June 1,2007. I don't want the bike and wanted to know if there was any way out of my loan contract? Please help.

Re: Purchasing a streetbike situation

Go back immediately and hand them a written letter saying you are rescinding the sale for misrepresentations and duress. You might have a legal right to rescind within 3 days under Mass law, so should definately try to do so while still within the timeframe, if it does apply to this sale.

They will heartily object and not be happy; they'll probably tell you you cannot do it, but persist. If they won't give in, check back on the site for further advice. But get there before 3 days is up.
