Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Massachusetts

Hi,I rented a dumpster. When I first called the company I asked them their rates and how much time I would have. They told me their prices for the different size sand that I should call to have it picked up "when I was finished".They called a few weeks later and left a message on my machine saying if I was finished they could use the dumpster. I called them back to tell them to come pick it up.A week or so after the picked it up the sent me a bill for rent for extra days. They never called to say they would charge after so many days, They did not tell me this when I ordered it, nor did they ever send anything in writing say this was their policy. They did not even mention it to me when I called to have it removed.Do I have to pay this Charge?

Irrespective of any legal issues, there is a cost/benefit analysis that should precede any conflict/dispute. What is the cost ($) of pursuing a dispute relative to the benefit in the event of success? The other principle to keep in mind is a predetermined result is better than an undetermined result ( going to court). Sometimes it's better to take the "path of least resistance. That being said, please feel free to contact me direct for a free initial consult based upon the facts of your specific situation.;)
