Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Massachusetts

How does judgment notification process work in Massachusetts i.e. if a creditor files for judgment for credit card debt? Is debtor notified before judgment is made and can creditor be given right to attach bank account or take vehicle prior to debtor notice?.....I lost job and only income is unemployment and have small balance on vehicle and still paying it on time.
