Legal Question in Criminal Law in Massachusetts

My ex boyfriend was charged with assault and battery twice, stupidly we went through the honeymoon stage and the case was dismissed after I spoke to the D.A. A month later like a typical abuser he started going crazy again, he did not hit me, but I broke up with him, a month later he shows up banging on my doors and windows at 4am violating his restraining order. he has subsequently shown up about 6 times begging and talking all this nonesense, I should've called the cops but I wasnt home alone and didnt think he would snap again. Finally yesterday he started talking nonsesense and Im realizing that there is something wrong with him.

is there any way I can have the case reopened with the D.A and also his violation of the order to stay from my property cause I know for sure he's nuts now. if now what should I do?

You have asked this question.

You can file for the new charges, but the odds of re-opening are slim.
