Legal Question in Criminal Law in Massachusetts

I'm being charged with Larceny over 250.00. The offense happened in 1995. Does the Statute of limitations come into effect in Massachusetts

Statutes of limitation are about when a case can be filed. If the case against you was filed before the statute ran out, then the limitations period won't help you. You may have other good arguments to make, so you should discuss the details of your case with a lawyer asap.

Good luck.
