Legal Question in Criminal Law in Massachusetts

Charged with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle but I was in the back seat and had no knowledge the driver didnt have his mothers permission to use the vehicle, im on unsupervised probation it was supposed to end in four months what should I expect?

Hi. If there's no allegation that you were driving the vehicle or that you somehow assisted in the "unauthorized use" of the car, the case can't be proven. Merely being present isn't enough for a conviction. You should be careful to make no admissions and work to get your case dismissed.
